Adam Lambert’s latest album release has reached No. 3 in the U.S. charts.
The now Queen frontman – Adam Lambert – released his third solo record ‘The Original High’ on Monday 15th June 2015.
Billboard have now confirmed that ‘The Original High’ - which sold 47,000 units during its first week on sale - has peaked at No. 3 on their albums chart.
His first solo offering ‘For Your Entertainment’ also peaked at No. 3, while his 2012 record ‘Trespassing’ gained Lambert his first No. 1 album.
James Taylor’s ‘Before This World’ is currently topping the Billboard Album Chart, while Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’s is No. 2.
‘The Original High’ features 11-tracks that vary from pop anthems to house bangers. Including ‘Another Lonely Night’, ‘There I Said It’, ‘The Light’, ‘Evil In The Night’, ‘Heavy Fire’, and hit single ‘Ghost Town’.
Queen guitarist Brian May also features on a track titled ‘Lucy’.
Lambert recently opened up about the collaboration and confessed that it was an honour to work with the guitarist on his own material.
Adam Lambert said: “I’m really excited that he was able to be a part of it.”
“I kind of knew in the back of my head that it would be cool to work together on my album and I played [the demo version] of it for him and I said, ‘Would you want to play on this?’”
Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo also features on a song called ‘Rumors’.
