Clean Bandit, Calexico, and Caro Emerald will headline Larmer Tree Festival 2016.
‘Rather Be’ hitmakers (and Cortana advocates) Clean Bandit will top the bill alongside Americana rock band Calexico, and Dutch jazz-pop singer Caro Emerald, at the award-winning Larmer Tree Festival.
The five-day event will also be headed up by Jamie Cullum, who was added to the bill late last year.
With five stages and over 80 acts today’s announcement doesn’t stop there, as girl next door singer Gabrielle Aplin, British folk trio Lau and acoustic singer-songwriter, Jack Savoretti also join the line-up. Meanwhile, genre-blenders Afro Celt Sound System will return to Larmer Tree in 2016.
Elsewhere on the line-up expect to catch Treacherous Orchestra, Dana Immanuel & The Stolen Band, Rev Peyton’s Big Damn Band, Martin Simpson & Dom Flemons, Ethan Johns & Black Eyed Dogs, Sound Of The Sirens, and Fenne Lily.
The genre-spanning event will also showcase hillbilly swingers Urban Pioneers, dark jazz ensemble The Chris Woods Groove Orchestra, folk trio Lady Maisery and the lively Caribbean roots music of Edward II.
Meanwhile, The Chase – a new stage for 2016 – will champion the best in new music. With Rozi Plain, This Is The Kit, The Wave Pictures, Cristobal And The Sea, Melt Yourself Down, and Hillbenders, all stepping up to perform.
Taking place in the picturesque Victorian gardens of the Cranborne Chase, from the 13th – 17th July 2016, Larmer Tree also provides a programme of music, comedy, theatre and poetry, perfect for the whole family.
