After much anticipation, Demi Lovato has finally debuted her new ‘Cool For The Summer’ video.
Leaving her ‘Barney And Friends’ days far behind, Demi Lovato’s racy new vid features the scantily clad pop star as she writhes around at a sexually charged party.
As the first single to be revealed from her upcoming, yet to be named, album Demi has overhauled her image, with a new cropped haircut and a series of Victoria’s Secret style outfits.
With lines including “Got your mind on my body and your body on my mind”, the suggestive title and lyrics presumably refer to a summer fling.
Demi previously warned her 29.5 million Twitter followers about the racy nature of the video.
She wrote: “I seriously cannot WAIT for my music video to come out… I don’t know if you guys can handle it…”
The catchy pop track is sure to become a regular at real life parties this summer.
With Ibiza ‘chill out’ moments, the single also wouldn’t be out of place on the White Isle, especially as it has already received the remix treatment from the likes of Todd Terry and Cahill.
Lovato’s new album, which follows 2013 offering ‘Demi’ is yet to be given a release date.
However, the U.S. songstress has expressed an interest in collaborating with pal Iggy Azalea. She is currently trying to figure out which song she should ask the star to appear on.
Demi said: “I’m so excited not only to be one of her bridesmaids, which is so cool. She’s one of my closest friends, and it would be an honour to have her on my album. So, I’m trying to figure out which song right now actually to out her on, but it will definitely happen.”
