Download Festival has added 33 more bands to its 2016 bill.

33 more bands will join headliners Rammstein, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden for a full throttle weekend of rock and metal mayhem.

The new expanded line-up includes American hard-rockers Shinedown, metalcore quintet Killswitch Engage, heavy metal supergroup Down, Brighton metallers Architects and pop-rockers Don Broco.

Pop-punksters Neck Deep, headbangers Tremonti, French heavy metal group Gojira and Swedish sacrilegious metallers Ghost will also perform at Donington Park over the weekend.

They will be joined by Canadian punk-rockers Billy Talent, classic rockers Saxon, Australian metalcore band The Amity Affliction and riff-heavy rockers Halestorm.

‘In Between’ hitmakers Beartooth, Glasgow rockers Twin Atlantic, Californian metallers Atreyu and self-proclaimed “party-metallers” Attila also join the bill.

Alongside reggae-metal group Skindred and former Gallows frontman Frank Carter, who will perform with his new band The Rattlesnakes.

Tesseract, Counting Days, Ho99o9, Milk Teeth Dead!, Black Foxxes, Fort Hope, Rival Sons, Breaking Benjamin, Havok, Delain, Skillet, Lawnmower Deth are also confirmed to play next year.

Finally, there will be an exclusive screening of Gutterdämmerung; a brand new rock ‘n’ roll film from Belgian-Swedish visual artist Bjorn Tagemose. Accompanied by a live band, the film has been hailed a “loud and dark fairy tale” and features the likes of Slash, Iggy Pop, Josh Homme, Henry Rollins, Lemmy, Tom Araya and many more of hard rock’s finest. Check out the trailer below.

These new additions join the already announced groups – Korn, Motörhead, Deftones, Megadeth, Nightwish and Disturbed – on hallowed Donington ground from the 10th – 12th June 2016.
