Parklife has revealed its 2016 headliners alongside a host of other acts.
The Chemical Brothers and Major Lazer will top the bill at this year’s Parklife festival, held at Manchester’s Heaton Park on the 11th and 12th June 2016.
Taking to the Main Stage on Saturday is hip-hop kingpin Ice Cube, electro faves Years & Years, drum and bass duo Sigma, garage pair Gorgon City, rapper Stormzy and Grammy Award-winning group Soul II Soul.
They will be joined by ‘You Don’t Own Me’ cover queen Grace, and rising stars Izzy Bizu, Jodie Abacus, Will Tramp and Nicola Bear. The evening will be capped off by a performance from The Chemical Brothers.
Headed up by Major Lazer, Sunday’s Main Stage bill sees rapper Skepta, ‘Hold My Hand’ hitmaker Jess Glynne, Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, and singer-songwriter Katy B perform. Alongside the Earth Wind & Fire Experience, Wilkinson, WSTRN, Ady Suleiman, and Dance Lady Dance.
Elsewhere at the festival, indie quartet Bastille, ‘Bros’ singers Wolf Alice, band of the moment Blossoms, Birmingham DJ Hannah Wants, reggae renegade David Rodigan, BBC Sound Of 2016 winner Jack Garratt, hip-hop faves De La Soul, and Busta Rhymes will also perform.
