Vevo have revealed their ‘Ones To Watch’ for 2016, including Hinds.
Vevo have selected ten artists to keep your eyes (and ears) on next year, including Spanish garage-rock quartet Hinds, who were previously named Deers.
Also following in the footsteps of previous ‘Vevo Ones To Watch’, including James Bay, Years & Years, Wolf Alice, Sam Smith and Ella Eyre, are South London rapper Yungen and piano maverick Frances.
The 2016 ‘dscvr Ones To Watch’ list also features Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara, moody rockers Black Peaks and East meets West infuser TALA. Alongside the Zane Lowe championed Amber Bain AKA The Japanese House.
Clubland singer-songwriter hybrid SG Lewis, Dublin rapper Rejjie Snow and the Jools Holland featured Izzy Bizu also feature on the ten-strong list.
Vevo’s Tom Connaughton said: “2016 will be an exciting time for new music. Artists are able to find their voice and audience at an earlier point through the internet. What that means is we’ve got a more interesting Ones To Watch group than ever before.”
“The sounds and styles are diverse, and we’re excited to get behind them and help connect them with our audience.”
Over the coming weeks, Vevo will film and premier exclusive performances of all ten ‘dscvr Ones To Watch’ acts.
